R&D Centre for recycling and production of plastic products
The aim of the undertaking was to create a R&D Centre where research and development works will be carried out in the field of plastic processing and regranulation of plastics for the needs of other manufactures together with production of prototype finished plastic products.
In order to carry out this undertaking, we have developed a complete multidiscipline Concept and Building Permit Design for the entire Centre. In the scope of our works there was also full service connected with obtaining the Decision on building permit.
The design works included the design of the production building connected functionally with the administrative and social part and the laboratory, the design of the porter’s building, two storage shelters and the trafo station. As part of the land development, roads and squares were designed, taking into account the inrun weight and technological tanks, the existing and new underground infrastructure was cleaned up and designed. Due to the specific nature of production, it was necessary to include proper waste management, including hazardous waste, in the design. However, the location of the entire facility in the area of mining damage required the adoption of appropriate solutions in the construction of the facilities and designed installations.
4,800 m2 of the buildings’ usable area
500 kg/h – capacity of raw material milling system and regranulate production system
